SCIC presents at the Milan Design Week 2024, at the iconic flagship store on Via Durini, with a reinterpretation of the Labirinto kitchen and two new models: 1935 and Atrium.
SCIC showcases Labirinto in a new chromatic and stylistic version, enhancing its prestigious finishes. Designed by Cattaneo Design Studio, this reinterpretation brings a new concept of the kitchen environment, where sharing and daily life are consolidated in the open compartments of the installation, equipped with glass and bottle holders. The doors in Dark Sheffield clouded nanotech steel, typically used for outdoor structures, allow the crystallographic structure to be modified without using pollutants. Completing the reinterpretation is the countertop in precious Starry Green Marble by Cheng Chung Design, a renowned Hong Kong firm.
The new 1935 model brings with it the idea of a livable kitchen: the space harmoniously transitions from kitchen to lounge area, with appliances hidden behind a wall, creating a homogeneous look. Additionally, the island faces the viewer. The kitchens are illuminated by Luna and Harlow, lighting fixtures by Gabriel Scott, a Canadian brand known for contemporary lighting.
The Atrium model, designed by 13.1 Architecture & Decor by Filippo Fiora and Federico Sigali for this occasion, is showcased in the Conte Casa Group showroom on Via Montenapoleone. The doors in antique mirror with SCIC Silver aluminum profiles and Paonazzo Opaco marble elegantly decorate the top, walls, sides, and backsplash of this model.
The showroom features products from the collaboration between the futuristic brand partner Cosmo Cross and the oriental brand ROBBi Art Toy. Some pieces from the Chris Contini Contemporary Art Gallery complete the showroom, where art, design, and color are central themes.
