SCIC Italia expands and acquires the SCHIFFINI brand: the historic Italian kitchen brand, synonymous throughout the world with high design, innovation and timeless style.
The purpose of this union is to take Made in Italy craftsmanship to new heights by uniting the values of SCIC Italia and those of SCHIFFINI through a global strategy aimed at expanding the boundaries of Italian Design.
The SCHIFFINI brand, now almost at its 100th birthday, began as a small naval furnishings factory that, since the 1960s, had seen the first stirrings of Industrial Design, making itself available to designers to create new models and thus giving rise to the phenomenon of Italian Design: a true cultural movement resulting from the synergy between industry and design. This experience peaked with the collaborative partnership with architect Vico Magistretti; one of Italyโs greatest masters of design.
SCIC Italia, from 1948 to the present day, continues in its growth by proudly maintaining the values of craftsmanship and creative passion, always searching for unique solutions to meet the needs of the national and international market.
The ever-increasing evolution in the creation of high-end products has allowed SCIC to start important collaborations with major fashion brands, such as FENDI, up to ELIE SAAB and KARL LAGER-FELD, of which SCIC is now the official manufacturer.

Among the strategic objectives of the two brands (SCIC and SCHIFFINI) there will be to optimise and emphasise synergies in order to meet the new challenges of the market, exploring all opportunities from both the retail and contract perspectives.
